The Chook House is a privately owned New Zealand Business.

We offer shipping within New Zealand at a flat rate of $9 per package for residential delivery and $15 for RURAL delivery.
Free Shipping, with in New Zealand on all orders over $180.00. (please note if an item is returned for a refund, the courier fee will be subtracted from your refund).
Shipping time in New Zealand is 2-5 working days. Please allow 1-2 ADDITIONAL days for Rural Delivery). Any Delivery date or time specified by us is an estimate only and The Chook House will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable or unavoidable delay in delivery. Orders will be delivered between Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. Please note, We do not ship to P.O Boxes.

As we are a small business with a physical store, there is a possibility that the product you have selected to buy that is listed in stock; a shopper in-store may be purchasing the same item at the same time. If this does happen we will fully refund your purchase.

Returns must be sent back within 5 working days of receiving the goods. They must be in the same condition you received them: Clean, unworn, unwashed and tags still attached.
Before returning an item please email us at info@thechookhouse.co.nz or phone 07 863 8675 explaining what you are returning and why.
We recommend you send your package via Track and Trace methods only. If you choose not to, The Chook House will accept no responsibility should we not receive the package.

No Returns, Exchanges or Credits on SALE or DISCOUNTED CODE items.
Please note: The Chook House is not responsible for the payment of return shipping, if you are wanting to exchange, the courier for the new garment is at your own expense. We suggest you include a prepaid bag with your return. We are more than happy to help with the size selection and fitting over the phone to try and get it correct the first time. 
Strictly NO returns on ALL accessories, Includes; Hats, Sunglasses, Scarves, Jewellery, Bags, Underwear, Socks, Shoes, Swimwear/Bikinis due to hygiene reasons.

Goods are deemed faulty if they have been damaged in transit, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within 3 months of purchase. Goods will be returned by The Chook House to the relevant manufacturer. Please note that items that have been damaged due to wear and tear are not considered to be faulty, and this will be at The Chook House and the manufacturers discretion.

Where possible we will offer to repair faulty items. If you would like an exchange on your item please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. A full Refund will be issued if the item cannot be repaired or replaced.

We are happy to take phone orders or credit card details over the phone if preferable for you, please phone 07 863 8675. We accept payment via credit card (Mastercard, VISA) and Paypal (unless you confirm you order on the phone with us). Please ensure that all personal information is filled out correctly so we can send you out your package as quickly as possible.

The price of goods and services, delivery and other charges displayed on The Chook House website are correct at the time of publication, however, we reserve the right to alter prices or any other information contained on our website at any time for any reason. If the pricing changes after you have ordered a product, we will contact you prior to processing your order. If there is an error in any of the offers, invitations or other promotions we provide to you, we reserve the right to correct such information.
